The 99 looks like it came off an early Fox to me, and both are a variation on the Vette scoop. Whatever the inspiration was, it is a good look.
The 442’s are nice to look at, and one with a warmed up 455 is a blast to ride in.

That’s really cool that our gen has recognition , even if it’s because of the scoop. I know for me it was part of the reason I liked this gen. That along with the side lines. A true modern, yet classic look that isn’t overly retro.
