Really. You honestly think someones going to pull away and drive "more" calmly when I fire arm is presented? If it were me, I'd be trying to get as much distance between he and I as possible.

I hate to say that doesn't matter, but in most cases the guy in the Mustang is going to get the ticket over the guy in the 4-door Buick any day of the week....regardless of who jumps the light. The only ensure the guy in the Buick gets the ticket is if he's a teenage. If both drivers are teenagers, they both get tickets.

Myself....I just give his car a look up and down, chuckle, then give him an eye roll along with a dismissive wave of my hand. That usually is sufficient in ticking them off.

If they're in the "Fast and Furious" mindset though, they're probably going to drive like an ass hat no matter what. I just proceed to shake my head and pull away normally.

No, I don't and anyone who took that post seriously should just go ahead and swallow a gun barrel now.... tonight... immediately... before the rest of us have to pay for your care, treatment, and incarceration.

One can never be too sure when it's coming from you. There's a reason we only gave you a custodial position around here, you know.

You're either lying or your air-conditioner is broken.

It was easy. For example....."Look at how little this chair looks parked underneath my enormous ass".

I should lock this thread for going off-topic in a bad way, but it wouldn't stop you from posting anyway.

Last time I flipped a guy off for being a jerk he chased me for 2 miles, arm out the window, yelling and trying to wave me over. I finally did pull over and parked. He jumped out of his car and ran up to my side, yelling and waving. Then he saw my right hand on the butt of my .45 and decided he'd overreacted. Go figure.

Everyone knows the "bird", the effyew signal. But there's no "Sorry, my fault" gesture.

I didn't see a guy in my blind spot as I tried to change lanes and put him on the rumble strips. I quickly jumped back over and he sped by. I caught up with him and pointed at myself and mouthed "my bad".. it was all I could do, but I think he got it and probably felt better, I know I did

Few months ago a dude in a Cavalier tried to race me in my notch at a red light, giving me that FastFurious look. What to do?

I uncorked that mutha

I usually wait until they take off and then accelerate slowly up to the speed limit. If I see them at the next stoplight I give them a sarcastic thumbs up and/or ignore them. This has served me well, and since we live in a free country unlike Canada, I don't have to worry about being arrested/pulled over for street racing.

False, as stated above if you accelerate at a nice leisurely pace up to the speed limit, the guy in the other car is going to get pulled over. That's just how it works in America

+1 this will usually work, but so does ignoring them... and by ignoring them you don't run the risk of pissing off some drugged out teenage kid with daddy's gun in the glove box.

Exactly right, this is the best option. As good as it would feel to blow their doors off it isn't worth the fines and/or potential jail time. I learned this the hard way. One week after getting my Mustang I decided to race some kids in a Celica in Grand Forks, ND. The race ended with them about 5-6 car lengths back at 70 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. Needless to say, I got a $200 speeding ticket and a $250 racing ticket and I had to appear in court. The judge was really pissed and gave me a stern talking to... it didn't help that a 17 year old girl was killed by street racers on the very same street where I was pulled over.

I'm guilty of mashing the gas down in first then granny shifting and going through the gears as if I were in a hybrid, trying to make the leaves grow on my dash display.

Meanwhile, crazy Racer-Ricer-boy has got them squirrels just'a runnin' as fast as they can.

Smile, wave and drive on as you were. Brandishing is not an option, its starts a whole nother offence.

Bullitt does this all the time, since Bullitt rarely engages in contests of speed on the street. (or elsewhere, so far)
