It might just be a hot wire, very unsure I don't normally deal with this stuff.haha but tomorrow I will take apart the solenoid again because If I remembered that wire was connected to another on and linked up together to that post, I will take a picture and report back.I believe that is not factory automotive wire, take it off, it's going to be 'hot' all the time. I bet it either has a crimp connector or nothing at all.

Yes I actually went ahead and bought the scanner, I got codes 31, 83, then 10, and then 31 again I just tested it earlier.Other thing you need to do is check for codes. You said the check engine light (CEL) has come on so there should be codes.

Yeah it looks like it's part of silver box set up, it actually has a couple other wires connected to separate into more.
