Unlock The Navigation System?

I ordered the factory nav system on my 08 GT vert.

Is there a way to make it possible to use it while driving?

I know it's designed as a safety feature, but stopping each time to enter anything is a pain.

Probably not. On all the nav systems in the cars I have driven, you can still access some features while driving. For instance, you can enter previous destinations without stopping since they are stored in the system's memory. I have no idea if the Mustang's nav system works the same since I have not seen one with it.
