Unoffical Poppy Red/Calypso Coral Mustang Club thread

Anyone that has a Poppy Red early Mustang post your pic in this thread. This color was a little ahead of it's time but fit in perfectly during the Flower Power Years. What year and what was the name changed to?

Just for cross reference, my '65 F-100 Custom Cab had a Poppy Red Dash, truck was Wimbledon White. The dash is the only metal part that survived New England Cancer, I cut it out and still have it in my loft. And Poppy Red is on the short list for the paint on my '66 F-100 project.

Poppy red was renamed calypso coral. The calypso coral name was first used in 1968 on cougars, then became a mustang color again for 1969 and 1970. My 65 was originally poppy red, but is now 66 candyapple red. I'm much more of a fan of the poppy red/calypso coral color on the 69 and 70s than I am on the early mustangs.
