I am in a tough situation, I went to boarding school pretty far away for highschool and I went to college in Pa. I dont know anyone my age in my area because I have been away for what seems like 8 years. Oh and I also went to a private school from grades 5-8. All of my friends live like 75-450 miles away. I feel like a huge loser asking this kind of a question but if I take the bar scene out, I really dont know where I can meet a new crowd to hang out with. Besides, if I tried to make friends at a bar it would be kind of gay (haha, what am I going to do ask some guy for his number?). I am going to look into some car clubs but I feel like most of the members will be much older than me (23).
I think I am just going to try to concentrate on finding a girlfriend first. Maybe she could have a respectable group of friends who I could hang out with? All my current friends are druggies and I need a new crowd.
I guess putting all of my spare time into my car also seems like a good idea but I want some sort of social interaction.

i agree with both the gf idea, and the car club idea....ive met a lotta real nice guys thru a few clubs ive been a part of, and some of them live real close to me so iev got lots of help when i work on my car or we work on theirs....ive got a big driveway, and TONS of tools so i always find myself with new projectssuper302 said:Car club is a good idea, a GREAT place to make friends (besides school) is work, i've made a ton of friends through my current and last job. In fact, i hung out with some kids last night that i worked w/ 8 months ago.
A girlfriend is the best idea in my honest opinion.

The Stang is going to get some more presents thats for sure. I plan on starting two savings accounts with the extra money; one for my car, one for my future. Now I just have to decide what to buy. Until I get a girlfriend I will save up, stock up on parts then do the modifications myself. I need something to do with my time and my car seems like a good place to start.
Thanks again guys for your support, it means a lot to me.
