some of ya'll were helping me about a month ago with a stumble. Well, I got the carb rebuilt thinking maybe that was it, and it wasnt. So now I am gonna go with it is a ignition problem. It has a petronix electronic ignition with a flamethrower coil. Possible maybe water got in the coil or something???? Maybe new rotor and dizzy cap? Though I dont see those causing this big a problem. I already did new spark plugs and new fuel filters.....any ideas?????

Have you done a plug reading to rule out fuel?

I doubt your coil has water in it unless the terminal corroded under the boot. For safety against that, its a good idea to put a dab of dielectric grease on all the plug/coil terminals. If your cap or rotor is all grown over, just scrape the crud off with something sharp and/or sand it to get by until you replace them.

when does it stumble, under what load.....etc. how bad? I've gone through so much crap trying to solve my stumble problem (which simply turned out to be a bad Demon carb), I'll bet I can offer some advice.

engine:
Carb:
base timing:
under what laod does it stumble:
what rpm:
will it do it at cruise too?:
will the stumble go as far as to stall the engine?
