Well, I got some plugs in and guess what I realized? The asshats didn't even drill the holes centered on the bumper. So I'm going to the body shop today to show him what **** work his workers do.

Here's some pics with the plugs:

BEFORE:

AFTER:

The plugs don't look bad...but they aren't centered!

He told me if I wanted it filled I have to pay for the whole bumper to be repainted...even though on my work order he wrote "do not drill license plate"...

That's BS, he can't make you pay for work that doesnt meet the agreement. He needs to own up and do it right!

I am so sick of people getting screwed by buisnesses who have no pride!

Threaten to take him to court if he doesn't fix it.

You have the documentation you need (the work order) should it get to that point.

That really sucks... I wonder if he will just give you some money back so you don't have to risk letting him fix it.

You know he will try to cut corners to save his ass on this one.

I hate when companies don't provide customer service... like any customer service. You are just asking them to live up to what they promised after all. He already admitted the mistake, but he won't step up. They would never touch my car again.

After just showing up and talking to him face to face, he's agreed to redo the entire bumper.

I would be there to sign off on the progress... See when they plan on working on it and arrange a time to stop by when you can meet the "Paint guy" and make sure he knows that his work must be perfect.

Thh hell kind of update is that mang? What did you say to him that made him agree to re-do it after originally telling you no? I'd hate to be in that situation because I'd feel like he's gonna slack on it ... Make sure to go by all the time!! Seriously.

Yo dude... Your going to get your balls busted by the cops for not having a front tag. I hope your prepared for that. I can't even get my car tinted without getting pulled over. Jersey sucks with that crap...

Glad to hear he's redoing it for you. What he did was completely unacceptable. I mean, the guy couldn't even center the plate either?!?

If you do end up having to mount a front plate again, at least get the plastic plate mount and use double sided tape to secure it to the bumper. I have mine ready to go once that day comes, but so far I've been able to get away with running no front plate, so plateless she stays!

Knock on wood I've had my fronts tinted for 3 years and not one issue. I know a bunch of cobra owners with no front tags and none have had issues with cops. Those that did just put the tag in the windshield and it's fine.

I think it depends on where you live in NJ... in my town (Edison) the cops don't really pull people over for tints and plates and stuff. In the town next to mine (Metuchen) they'll stop you for 35% even if you aren't speeding

If you have that in writing then why did you accept any kind of plugs?
