Today I took off the t-stat housing, t-stat, and bypass hose off. Cleaned off the sealant and old gasket off the housing and manifold and made sure the surfaces were nice and clean. Put t-stat inside house, then stick the adhesive side of the gasket to the housing, cut my new bypass hose a little shorter. Put one the housing w/ t-stat and bolt it up to the manifold(NOTE: no sealant used on opposite side of gasket) and applied Anti-seize on the bolts. Next I connected the bypass hose which was a little difficult fitting it snuggly to the housing and w/p. Added some fluid to the radiator and left the cap off, reservoir already had some to the lower mark. Turned on car, heater control temp on hot, and turn it to "floor" for the heater.
For some reason when I put it on mix or defrost, the A/C comes on and blows cold air, so I left it on "Floor" while running to normal operating temp. Fluid was overflowing after 5-10 min., turned off car.
As of right now I'm letting it cool so I can then add some more fluid, burp the system, and add more if necessary. Going to let it sit another 30 minutes.
