Alright i took Mustang5L5 advice (thanks btw) and took a sledge hammer to the axle.. by doing that it released the c-clip.. now the hard part was removing the axle out of the housing..it took ; a sledge hammer, another axle, a muffler, several pieces of 2X4,, to pry the axle out..

Upon examining the axle.. it seems like the bearings had made a cut into the axle... and i had looked into the housing where the bearings were any they looked untouched they werent warped or broken ... im confused..

Do they rollers in the bearing roll?

Either way, you can't trust that bearing. Get a slide hammer and pull it out and replace it. You'll need a new axle shaft and seal as well.

That's about the oddest thing I've ever seen. Was that a used axle when you installed it?

Could be existing wear from previous vehicle that caused it to slowly grow larger once in your car...so in other words, the axle was doomed from th start.

Bearing might be okay, but not worth the risk.
