Upgrade TB on stock gt?

Would upgrading to an FMS 65mm throttle body be of any benifit to a stock 94 gt with just exhaust?

umm not really, it would be better to get a new intake manifold then get the throttle body, but even with a new intake manifold the stock throttle body should hold up fine untill you get other things. But i would definetely get the intake manifold before i got a new throttle body. I have a cobra intake manifold, and a stock throttle body, and i can feel a huge difference from the stock manifold. I don't think the stock throttle body is holding me back at all, for now at least.

That and the fact that the opening on the bigger throttle body would be bigger than that of the stock manifold.....

with stock heads and no power adderer, its worthless, keep it stock. spend money on something that will actually do something . stock tb flows more than enough for most applications, even modded ones

btw, throttle response sucks if you put a bigger tb if you dont need it.

that was basicly my first mod also. does "feel" nice. if you ever run the car shift @ 5000 rpms trust me, anything after you prob loose power. just speaking from my experiences
