Okay I have a 91 fox I want to upgrade my brakes and swap to a 5 lug. I have been told to get 96-04 spindle/hub/brake setup. I was told it is a direct bolt in? is this correct? I was also told I might need the LCA to make the swap work...any truth to that? And assuming the this swap info is correct what size wheels and tires can I run? 17-18"

I am sure this has been asked and answered before but I couldn't find it. THanks for any info

No, you need 94 or 95, the 96-04's are the wrong offset for a foxbody.

You can run the newer PBR calipers on 94 or 95 spindles.

Here is some info about 5 lug swaps and what setups work in this thread.

ok thanks lance....I checked the link you gave me and it said 94-95 or 96-98 spindles will work. It was in the second post. So now I am a bit confused do the 96-98 work? or is the 94-95 just a better fit?

96 and newer has a wider track width...use 94-95 if you want to maintain factory track widths...also you need either a SN95 lower balljoints or spacers to make the swap work...(some guys use a couple washers to make up the difference)...i personally am using Moog balljoints..the spindle/hub will bolt up fine...you going with full 5 lug disc swap or drums in the rear?

I guess I should say the 96 and up spindles will "work", but not well. You will have tons of tire rub, and with stock off-set mustang wheels it's going to look ghetto because of the added track width.

The only way to correctly use 96+ setups is with the Maximum Motorsports K-member that is set up for that style spindle.

You don't need to change control arms...front or rear.

Either spindle will work...but 94-95 are ideal
