Upkeep on Flat Black Spoiler on a '07 Grabber Orange

Was looking to go retro with the new ride and wanted to get the spoiler painted flat black like the old Boss. I'm assuming you don't wax flat black so how do you upkeep?

BTW, also gonna add some Visus louvers soon as well...don't care for the Astra Hammond 'plastic' ones...

Just wash it like you would the rest of the car. But never wax it.

And the color really isn't flat black, it is more of a satin black.

That's freakin' hot looking! Almost makes me want to change my mind and get Grabber Orange instead. The color looks better with more black on the car like you have it though. Too much orange otherwise.

The pumpkin with racing stripes is looking sweet! I like your idea of going with the flat or satin black finish on the spoiler. Do those stripes continue down the back end of the car? If they do, the duckbill spoiler might be a good option too with the stripes going over the spoiler and down the back. Sorry I called your car a pumpkin... the color looks nice, especially with the black accents.

Use this stuff on it as well as any other black trim you have. It will keep it looking new forever and protect it.

It's doesn't make things shine really, it just coats and protects and enhances the surfaces natural shine, if it has any. This stuff is amazing.

I love the look of the Grabber Orange with the black accents as well(check out Cervini's B9 & M1 kits). IMO it does lack something when it is ALL orange.

A shaker would be tits after you paint the spoiler.

I was thinking of getting the ss hood stripe only in addition to my reverse c.
I am going to do it myself and then I'll paint the scooop black.
doe's anyone have any better suggestions ?

Yeah, the stripes go over the front and rear of the car all the way down the bumpers. I didn't care for where the 'stock' striping ended on the hood and trunk. I much preferred the Shelby 'complete' stripe look...I also picked up the bottom 'Ford Racing' Stripe from FRPP.
The car off the lot didn't come with this much black on it. I swapped out the 18" chrome bullits i had on it, as well as completely removed the 'stock' striping. I agree with the earlier comments...if you get the Grabber color, ADD BLACK ACCENTS! It'll richen the color from the yellow tints to a more true orange. I even added black window deflectors and molded rear splash guards. I was going to add a black chin spoiler to further enhance with black but opted for the FRPP Handling Package and Borla Stingers instead...go figure...
