upper control arm axle bushing

how do i remove the bushing from the axle housing for the upper control arm?

Oh thats a fun one.....i pretty much beat the **** out of it with a big hammer to get it out. You might try usin like a ball joint press though.

I used a drill and drilled the bastards out. Get enough out where it falls apart and the rest comes on out. Makes a mess tho.

Use this tool from MM, it's removes and installs the bushings correctly. Comes with good instructions and even sets the depth right when you reinstall. Made that job so much easier.
