Upper Control Arm Bushing Help

I was reinstalling my upper control arms after lowering the mounting location and found one of the mounting bolts was stripped so I decided to replace the entire shaft, bushings and bolts. Seems like a fairly straightforward job but can't find the bushing torque specs in my manual. I'm hoping someone can clue me in to what they are and any other helpful hints before I begin.

I think I figured it out. There are no specific torque specs because they want you to fabricate a 3/4" piece of pipe 6 15/16" long, insert it next to the new arm shaft and tighten the bushings until the A arm meets the pipe length, keeping the mounting bolts evenly centered. Can anybody confirm this?
