I read somewhere that the hole for the upper control arm mount is larger than the bolt (14 mm bolt and a 16 mm hole). Can anyone confirm this and if it is true, do any aftermarket arms address this issue? With all of the clunkiness of the rear suspension, I can believe it.

I believe most of the UCA mount/brace fill that hole.

This part is highly recommended for use with any aftermarket upper control arm due to the fact that the stock mount has large oversized holes designed for ease of assembly at the Ford Factory which can tear or stretch out with hard use

They did that on the sub frame on 03/04 cobras.with our fix its just bolts.honestly they have been doing this a long time.try a bigger bolt in uca bush.caution inside tube you might find bumps thats was what fills the 2mm

My J&M UCA came with metal bushings to fill the slack.
