I am going to repalce the axle bushings soon and i was wondering if there is a load on the upper control arms and if they are heard to line back up with the bolts?

Support the axle and the frame.....do one side than the other. It is fairly easy. Good luck.

They can be a pain -- you may have to pound on the bolts and move the axle around to get them back in. When you take them out, they can be under some load -- but if the axle is supported you shouldn't have any problems. Be sure to do a final tighten with the car supported by the axle, like when it is on the ground.
