I'm about ready to put on my upper intake manifold, but I haven't figured out where all the hoses underneath the intake go. I'm switching from a stock intake to a Trick Flow Street Heat intake by the way. In this pic you can see that I've installed all the necessary fittings and hoses to the Trick Flow, but I don't know what happens to the smaller brass hose fitting on the top and right in the pic.

In this pic you can see the bottom of the stock intake manifold (most of the hoses have already been removed and swapped onto the new intake).

The fitting that I'm asking about on the Trick Flow intake doesn't exist on the old intake. Rather it is a large threaded opening the same size as the one on the opposite side of it (where the large black hard line threads in). I don't remember if there was anything ever threaded into that opening, or if it was just left open with nothing threaded into it. For the Trick Flow intake, there wasn't a large opening like the stocker, but a small one instead (that's why I figured thats where the brass hose fitting goes in, because it came with the intake and fit perfectly).

My question is should I plug the fitting, or does something connect to it? I hope this isn't too confusing! Thanks!

One of the fittings underneath the intake goes to the charcol cannister. The 2 others you can plug. I would go to the parts store and buy a brass plug rather than using the stupid rubber covers as they will get weathered from the heat.

I did my tfs intake slightly different because that fitting on the side was a T fitting so I used 1 end for the pcv and the other i ran a hose to one of the empty fittings underneath the intake.

I'm talking about the upper picture of the TFS intake:

Referring to the two adjacent brass barbs on what is the front of the intake when installed, one of those goes to the charcoal canister. Use whichever one the canister hose fits on and cap the other.

Referring to the black metal tubes and the capped barb, the two small tubes on the hard line are used for the fuel pressure regulator and one goes to the group of vacuum lines on the passenger side engine compartment(they are all plastic lines that go to a rubber junction. The large hardline goes to the vacuum tree on the firewall. Leave the brass barb capped.
