whats more important upper or lower control arms and do i need the adjustable ones or are fix arms just as good

can some one tell me if i get a set of uppers and lowers what they will do for the car

i have the car lowers and i was thinking of getting the subfames but some one told me i should look in to getting control arms just want to check with u guys on that first

Well I got a set of D&D Upper and Lower and the end result was Tighter rear end and NO wheel hop!
I know my 60' will drop!
as for fixed or adj. I say fixed I read that most people who have adj. don't even know what the hell to do with them?
Not joking I mean it's better then stock but I'm not sure you need anything more then Fixed ,Unless you are going to race the car every weekend at a diffrent track and NEED to dail it in.When I took the rear and uppers out I was shocked how flemsy they seemed! I was glad to put something ROCK soild in there!

The rear control arms are integral ingredient of the car's suspension geometry. The lowers are especially key as they provide the lower mounting point for the rear springs, and also the rear sway bar. The reason the stock arms suck is that they are made of a cheap stamped u-shaped metal that flexes unbelievably bad. The uppers are not as important ... HOWEVER, the uppers are not that expensive and easy to change, so you might as well do them, too. The type you get has a lot to with your application. Drag racers are looking alot at the type that get you the best weight transfer and hooking of the rear tires ... I can not help you with any suggestions there. My car is purely a motivated street car, so adjustability is not a requirement for either upper or lowers. But I did opt ... and I am R E A L L Y glad I did ... for adjustable "weight jacker" type lowers to allow some tweaking of the rear ride height. As my springs have settled, this has turned out to be a nice feature. The handling difference after the new arms is extraordinary, especially when tied to a new heavier rear sway bar -- as the LCA's are the mounting points for the sway bar, the handling improvements are ... in my experience ... pretty dramatic. I really love my car's handling ... it is a lot of fun in twisty roads.

Regarding sub-frame connectors ... yep, get them and get them now. They are critical upgrade required for our aged chaisis. The car should come stock with them.

Did road noise and vibration increase with your LCA's?

I never detected any noise or vibration change. Regarding ride harshness ... I originally put in Granatelli weight jacker LCA's w/ aluminum spherical bushings. Wow, there was a big increase in ride harshness. Overall, the ride with the Granatelli's was okay, except it got to be real tiring on bad roads. As I put a premium on drivability, I ripped out the Granatellis in favor of the Pro3i's with poly bushings. That really softened things up alot from the Granatellis. The Pro3i arms probably don't ride exactly as soft as stock arms, but they're definitely in the ballpark -- but the handling improvement over the stock arms was night and day.
