UPR coilovers

quality

Does that mean they would work for an actual road racing car? Are they $h!t products or stuff that would hold up. I'm new to the whole road racing thing and still doing research on everything I can get my grubby little hands on. It would be great to know if anyone had any problems with their suspension stuff and air/fuel products. Thanks for the hijack... :D

I do a lot of road racing out at Sebring and beat my car on the street and currently have the UPR coil overs on the front. (the type that just slip over any shock) The quality and fit was actually very very good and have not had any issuse with them for the past 5 months that I have owned them. (they came in the UPR K-member kit I got) so far, UPR has proven to me to be a very high quality product. You just don't have to pay more $$ to have their name on it like QA1 stuff.

The search function works, oh and try these guys http://www.maximummotorsports.com/

yeah

I've pretty much looked at everything that I could get from M and M. Catalogs and etc. I've tons of searches too on them. They have great reviews on all their stuff. I just haven't found much on UPR. Thanks for the info Rickey_Bobby. I'll try more searches too tomustang. Thanks.

I'll agree to that. stick to the good names.... if you want handeling, dont skimp.... hell, when it comes to the mustang, dont skimp. garbage in, garbage out. MM/EVO hybrid rear, and going for MM front end... costly, but solid. speed costs.

How did you measure that, with a Gtech?

No, I do have a Gtech but it has shown to be in accurate. (It once told me I was pulling 1.5G's getting on an on ramp) As much as i wish that was possible, I know I probably wasn't even breaking 1G.

There was an older guy out there with a cobra kit car that had a laptop and all kinds of cool gadgets in it and I want over and talk to him for a while. He ended up taking me for a ride and then hooked his stuff up in my car and went for a spin.

He had a grey electrical box that looked like it was from Lowes and inside were 3 accelerometers and a circuit board and he was running a program that's control display resembled Megasquirt.

... I sure wish I had his cobra though... That thing kicked my ass...

UPR.....SUX

And yes, I speak from experience. Go ahead and get their coilovers, they'll probably work fine for you.....but you will be supporting a company that makes crap products, has very poor customer service, and does not stand behind their products after the sale.

Again, I speak from experience.
