I'm looking into getting some of uprs chrome/billet pieces, but ive heard that their quality is not as high as MGW's. So im planing on going with MGW's A/C knobs, and some other pieces. However, what im asking about is what you guys think of UPR's radiator covers (99+ 4.6 mod's). I know the price is a lil high, at 119.95, and i know it can be spent for better performance parts, but still im looking for dress up items. Is the quality and good on this part? also, how hard is the install? Finally, generally what do you guys think of it, cool dress up piece, or teh rice? Anyone have it, and if so do you have any pics?
Mike

[EDIT: Steeda Rad. cover is also an option. anyknow have any opinion on that one?]
if this should be in talk, some mod. please just move it.

I think UPR's quality is great. I have several of their pieces and love them. I don't know why anyone would say UPR's quality is not as good.

I would go with Steeda or UPR. Quality is comperable between the two.

I have my engine bay dressed up with UPR and Steeda stuff. The quality is the same as far as I can tell. I like UPR too, becuase it does not say "Steeda" all over them.

I have the Steeda radiator cover, but I don't use the Steeda sticker on it.

UPR get's a bad rap because apparently they have cloned other companies products, ie: Blue Thunder vs Tri-Ax. Welcome to the world of free enterprise. We have a couple UPR items on our Stangs - and no complaints here at all.

Oh and to quote Dark Knight from a MD post, "Bill Putnam and KenB both use the UPR series control arms for their setups and we know how fast they go"
Yeah, KenB's N/A GT has a new best of 11.33 at 119.95. Awesome!

UPR speaker covers & door handles are quality...MGW for all the rest. The fit/finish/packaging of MGW is perfect.(triple chrome)
