UPR X-pipe w/cats?

The UPR unit does not have a smog tube fitting. One less thing to hook up, which is nice if you've already deleted the smog pump, anyway. I believe the Pypes X-pipe is the same way, as well.

I am starting to really wish that the UPR X-pipe was designed to utilize the usual transmission crossmember hangers, though. I am so frickin' sick of having to jack up one side of the car enough to get another jack under the center section of the exhaust, loosen the bolts, crank that thing back up into position, and re-tighten it every two weeks or so. If I had a welder and some know-how on using it, I'd rig up my own hangers for it to solve the problem. Then again, it never seemed to do this until I put on the Violator muffs, which are about an inch longer and a tad heavier than the Dynomax Super Turbos I took off, so maybe the extra length/weight is pushing things down...? Anyone else have the saggy X-pipe thing going on?

Oh, and I hate where the UPR guys decided to locate the cats. If they'd have just welded them exactly one inch forward of where they are now, it would fit like a glove. As it sits, the stupid things bang against the tranny crossmember on both sides when you've got it up high enough that it doesn't scrape on every frickin' speed bump in the world (aside from the way it scrapes and drags after it's started to sag awhile, too). Giving serious consideration to ditching the UPR piece in favor of a plain ol' off-road H-pipe, and keeping the UPR unit for emissions testing. Just food for thought...
