UPS made my Valentine's day!

They brought me my TW heads!

Now it's time to get out the grinder, and fix the crooked a** exhaust ports. Oh well, should've gotten the AFRs if I wanted perfectly shaped, CNC machined ports. :SNSign:

damn is the quality that bad on TF heads?

id like to know too....i was gonna get afr, then decided on tw to save a little

I wouldn't say the quality is bad necessarily, but I think they could've concentrated a little better on making the exhaust ports symmetrical. One side looks good, but the other side is crooked, and I'll have to hit it with a grinder to make it even. It's not really a big deal to me, since I'll gasket match everything, but for almost $1300, I sort of expected better. The ports on the $150ish GT40P heads I bought were higher quality.

I'll grab some pics when I get home. I'm at work right now, closely monitoring the cardiac rhythms of 41 patients...

Ok, I grabbed some pics. The closeup of the exhaust ports shows the nice ridge in the center of them, then I took just a few other misc. pics, and my cat helped me inspect the quality, too.
