im thinking of getting a mach 1000 system from a freind of mine, would it be easy to put it in my car which is just factory v6 system, i figured it should, but i was just wondering if there would be much of a problem, its just gonna be the amps, subs, and cd changer, so i figured it would be an easy hook up, but i cant find much on it in the search so im asking, thanx

the only problem i would see would be fitting the cd changer unit into the center console. the changer (6-cd which im guessing) is one big unit, and i dont think it fits into the stock console which holds 2 separate smaller units (cd and cassette/radio). other than that, i think the wiring shouldnt be a problem. u could probably do it urself.

I have the mach 460 sound, and we replaced the rear deck speakers with some nice alpine speakers, makes some damn good sound, but i will eventually put a new amp and sub in the trunk =D

the 99+ uses the Double-Din radios. If both your and his cars are 99+, GO FOR IT! However, it's a pain in the ass to do. Unless you already have the Mach 460 system in your car, you will need to replace all your speakers and your headunit. Make sure you replace your headunit! If you have the stock headunit and try to run it to your mach amplifiers, it will really f*** it up. (the amplifers are designed to take a non amplified input on them.) It will be a pain in the butt, but if you or your friend or anyone you know has the audio experience to wire this in, it's well worth the time I think.

oh yea i know enough bout radios and systems and wiring i can take it out and put it in, i was just wondering what if any problems there would be, i already have pioneer 6x8's in the doors and back so i would have to get a new deck..hes not selling it anymore, he was, cause he got a 7in in dash and it was messing up his sound and stuff, so he was gonna sell, but now hes just gonna make it work instead of just selling it, so..
