I am taking off all my brackets, so I tried taking off the power steering pulley with a puller I had and it ripped off some of the part that is used to pull the pulley. So I went and I bought a new puller and installer, and right now I finished ripping off another chunk of the part. How the hell do you get the damn pulley off? I figured it was just pulling it, but what the f*** is this.

That pulley is toast, time to cut it off. Cut the pulley and not the power steering shaft obviously. You got air tools and a cut off wheel right? I've been staring at the first pic. Should take two cuts in the center section. Cut towards the power steering pump. One on the top, one of the bottom. Should fall apart after that.

I'd say that mofo is super rusted on.... :nonono: If you get hung up on the pulley, give a shout...i have my old one hanging around, it yours if you need it....

looks like the right puller...you were holding the longer bolt, and unscrewing the nut next to the pulley...right???

Mine was on like that too!! :notnice:
I got it off with the same puller you have, BUT putting it on was a B*tch!!! I thought i was F--ked Its on now but if it has to come off again im sure ill be getting a new pump as well.... My inside threds are stripped and had to be re threded :owned: I was the Worst part of my Project

Man, thats the exact same thing that happened to me (threads inside stripped out putting it on).. This time around i decided to avoid it completely and grind a wrench down to slide in to reach that one bolt behind the pulley.
