use anti-seize on rocker stud-to-head threads?

I have stud mount AFR165's (#1402). I called AFR and asked them what and if I could use anti-seize on the rocker stud threads that go into the head and they said it was OK. He said oil, moly lube, or anti-seize, whatever. I installed them with anti-seize and have ran the engine a few hours. Now I see that Trick Flow specifically says not to use anti-seize on these.

Did the tech at AFR not know?
Why does Trick Flow specifically say not to?
Are the rocker stud threads in the AFR's heli-coils or just tapped?
Ultimately, should I clean off the anti-seize and just use oil or moly lube?

I use anti-seize anytime I put steel threads and aluminum threads together.

Sounds like your ok to me...I'd leave well enuf alone and wouldn't disassy to clean...

BTW I saw your post about the loose rocker.

I bet you overlooked that one cause it sounds like you used the method I've used for years to get them good & tight.

It has never failed me with a loose one.

Say, if you had to quantify the amount of torque you put on the lock BEFORE turning both of them together, what do you think it would be? 10lb-ft?

The allen wrench is only about six inches long and hands are usually kinda slick with oil so the only way I know how to describe it is snug enough that any tighter and hands and fingers might start to slip off the small allen wrench.

How many turns do you use?

3/8 with the nut only and 1/8 more with nut and lock together for a total of 1/2 of a turn
