Use IMRCs?

Hey guys, I got a question regarding IMRC's on my 96 Cobra. Here's the setup;

4.30 rear gears
TA girdle
Alum. D/S
T56 6spd Trans with Pro 5.0
11" Clutch
Bassani X-pipe
Borla Cat-back
255x45ZR17 front, 275x40ZR17 rear
Koni coilovers all around
MM CC plates
D&D Tubular a-arms
Mega bite JR upper/lowers
BBK 62mm TB
Steeda Alum radiator
Evans water pump
Screamin Demon coils w/ live wires

My question is this, should I get some of those IMRC deletes? I heard if you have low rear gears like I do, you should get rid of them, is this true? Also wondering what kind of power adder I should go with, I'm contemplating a Vortech S-trim or a NOS kit, which would you guys prefer?

This is my first 4V car and this Cobra is already setup pretty good, just want it to be a little faster on the straight aways.

Thanks!!

You don't really need delete plates, since you have a 96 (metal IMRC) you can just remove the rod and plates and block up the holes where the rod was, you can also port them out a bit. Just get a tune afterwards just incase.

They ARE there to give you low end tq though, if they are removed you will lose some and gain a small amount of power up top, don't now about using steeper gears without them though
