Sweet. I did all of that on my '95 GT a few years ago, but did not have the luxury of weighing all of the components when I was done. I also did a rear seat delete and some Corbeaus. I think that stuff was good for an additional 40lbs or so.

Not to mention the switch to Aluminum heads saves you quite a bit as well. Somewhere in the relative range of 30 lbs....

Taking out the stock seats and putting in leather 03 gt seats adds 30 pounds... thank goodness Ive lost 30 pounds to offset it... LOL

I hear if you take a lot of material out of the factory head ports it saves some weight also. Less coolant that way.

And it takes $500 or more off your resale! Mine still works in my 84, kind of nice when it's 90 degrees out to put the top up and turn on the AC.

Screw dropping the weight. Just add more horsepower. NOthing is cooler than running 9's or 10's with a street driving car, with air conditioning, big stereo, running pump fuel, smooth idle, 30mpg freeway driving, and putting 2 girls in the backseat.

its oregon though... its never hot enough to use ac, (at least to the point that rolling the windows down wont take care of it).

Fox A/C looks and works like crap. Just my 2 cents. I like to roll with the windows down anyway. I might feel different if we had more than 3 days over 90 degrees a year.

As for the resale thing I got more money for my 10 second street car than my 12 second car with working ac and sterio.
