Iam looking at a v1 s trim head unit for my 02 gt and the seller says its counter clockwise rotation, for my application does clockwise or counterclockwise rotation matter as well as straight or curved discharge?

yes you need a reverse rotation for modulars because they are mounted backwards in our cars.

V1 is a race blower isn't it?

No just straight cut gears which makes it loud. It's still a s trim

Yes, it'll work. Just make sure that it's a straight discharge not a curved. I'm not sure if vortech makes a CCW that's not a straight discharge.
