V6 exhaust help

I just got an 08 v6 mustang pony package from my dad and i want to put an exhaust on in. Im willing to spend around 600 er 700 dollars. I was looking at the ford racing performance true dual exhaust kit from american muscle but i dont know if that would be the best choice i might want to get an x pipe and a different exhaust but i dont know which to get. any recomendations are appreciated.

Any dual kit is going to be better than the stock "2 into 1" set-up.

Bassani 40765 very nice system for right around $700 shipped. Very cool sounding. It is also all 2.25 inch pipe to match the factory pipe that comes down from the cats.
The GT take off is cheaper but will not sound as good and with the 2.5 inch pipes you might lose a little low end torque. Part number has changed to 40105 but some places still have it listed as the old number.

I just got the kit that ford sells and it looks and sounds great. and not as tinny sounding as the pypes kit.
