Hi folks, I'm new here. Does anyone know whether the in-grille foglamps on the GT will be available as an option on the V6? (I haven't noticed this discussed below; sorry if the answer is there somewhere.) I really like the way they look, but if I end up buying a Mustang, I will almost certainly be on a V6 budget. Thanks!

I tend to doubt that in-grille foglamps will be available as an option on the V6. I read recently that Ford was trying to distinguish the '05 GTs from the V6s even more than on the '99-'04s. There were apparently complaints by GT owners of those years that their cars didn't look different enough from the V6s. You could, of course, purchase the parts yourself through the dealer and install them yourself if you are so inclined, or have them dealer-installed ($$$).

P.S. I'm new here, too. I'm currently driving a Mopar ('02 Dakota), but plan to trade for an '05 or '06 GT as soon as rebates & dealer discounts kick in.

I know this is not the point of this Post but, I would really consider getting a v6 05+ if an aftermarket company offers a TT for 5-6 grand soon. V6's are cheap and talk about a sleeper. bah.. I guess I would wait for the new v6 to be dropped in there anyway. But it would be tempting to have a 350hp or better v6 stang

Why would you want to spend an extra 5-6 grand and convert a V6 into a GT when you could spend that same amount of money and get the real GT? That's what I would do. Don't spend your money for nothing on a V6 Mustang when you can spend it on the real GT. The V6 will still be a V6. The GT will be a GT.
