v6 to v8 conversion ?'s 86 notch

I just picked up an 86 notch with a 3.8 auto in it and am looking to put my gt40p motor in it t5 tranny and 8.8 out of my capri as it just got totalled. The car does have the obd1 plug in so it obviously has the computer. I have full msd ignition setup with msd 6al, msd dist. coild and stuff so where would I tap into the factory harness on this to get it running. Basically none of the other wiring, emissions and stuff will be used except the must use stuff. Anybody done this before. The motor is carbed so it should be pretty easy. Anybody know how hard it is to switch out the pedals and what would I have to do to wire in the nuetral safety switch or is it the same plug in? I have everything to do this conversion, except the knowledge of the questions above.lol. Is there any difference between the brakes and front suspension for the v6 then the v8 car on an 84 capri?
