i know the fox bodies had a 3.8 v6 as an option because i have seen them and i know ford used them in everything. people in the 5.0 section are saying that there was only the 2.3 and the 5.0 but i know different. the guy also said that the earlier fox bodies used a 3.1 v6. i did not even know ford had a 3.1. that is a chevy motor isn't it

There was a carb'ed 3.8 in the early-mid 80's I think, but '87-'93 were only 2.3 and 5.0.

From what I know:

1979 Had a 2.8 V6 and a 3.3 Inline 6

1980 Had a 3.3 Inline 6

1981 Had a 3.3 Inline 6

1982 Had a 3.3 Inline 6

1983 Had a 3.8 V6

1984 Had a 3.8 V6

1985 Had a 3.8 V6

1986 Had a 3.8 V6
