I just bought a SSBC disc conversion kit for my '66 from a guy at work, he gave it to me for a real good price so I couldnt pass it up. My problem is that im not sure if my car has V8 spindles (I dont know the difference between the 6 and v8) The car was originally a 6 cylinder car but is now a v8. The front suspension was restored by the previous owner and I'm not sure what all was swapped with v8 parts. It has 5 lug drums on the front of it now. Can someone tell me what the difference is between the spindles so I can see what mine are. If you need anymore information just let me know. I know pictures would help you guys but Im between computers right now and im using our libraries so I can't hook up my camera sorry.
Thanks,
Chad

if you already have 5 lug brakes then you're all set with the spindles.

Rule of thumb but not for sure

4 bolt spindles were used on 6 cyl cars

5 bolt on V-8's

True for 64-66. After that, same spindles either way.
