I have removed everything in doing my 2 barrel to 4 barrel swap. My current distributor has a vacuum advance hose that runs the distributor to the 2 barrel carb.

I am looking at the 4 barrel carb and I don't see where the Autolite 4100 has the same connection ? Am I missing something ? Do I connect it to the intake ?

It sounds like you may have a 4100 off of a hi-po engine (65 Falcon?). The hi-po carbs did not have vacuum ports. The distributors on the hi-po engines used mechanical advances. Where did you get the carb? If it is a hi-po 4100, you have a rare find.

I am pretty sure it's an A-code carb. 1.08 venturi. I just don't see the connector for the vacuum hose but I will look again. Where should it be ? I know I will feel stupid when I see it.

Most are on the front of the carb at the bottom of the base. Sometimes they get loose and come out. There are several variations of the 4100. Do you have the tag or part numbers?

Unless I am missing something, the only connector I see that looks like it would fit is on the airhorn on the side of the choke. I thought that connection was choke related not a vacuum port. Please correct me if I am wrong.

You are talking about the distributor vacuum fitting. It's on the side of the choke down near the base. Should be a threaded hole towards the front of the carb.

Available at pony carbs for $4-5 bucks.

If you don't want that carb for whatever reason I will take it off your hands. I got one recently and now have several family members looking.
