Vacuum leak somewhere under TFS upper intake

i have been having idle problems for the last couple of weeks, and i have determined that there is a vacuum leak somewhere up under the upper intake on the driver's side. when i spray carb cleaner on that side in the area between the heads and the intake, the idle is affected, so un-metered air must be getting in from there.

if it makes a difference, i have a trick flow street heat intake. i know there are 2 hoses connected to the upper (to the the fuel pressure regulator and the pcv valve), and they both seem to be air-tight.

is there something else that is supposed to be connected to the underside of the upper intake or what else could be the source of the leak?

You might want to try the smoke method to locate the specific point. Then R & I a new gasket and make sure you torque it correctly per the haynes manual. BTW, 96in.lbs = 8ft.lbs, so if you don't have an in.lb torque wrench you can subsititute 8 in it's place, or 10 if your torque wrench doesn't go that low.
