just gotta 95 gt. its basically stock. only upgrades its had is msd ignition system and dizzy. its gotta miss i've been trying to chase down. not real bad. drives ok but it does bug me. cleaned the maf and trashed the k&n filter. blocked off the egr since the diaphram was busted. new plugs, wires, and fuel filter. last time i checked the codes it didn't really give me anything to go on. i'll check again on that. been told the fuel pressure regulator has been replaced but could't be sure on that. was thinking maybe a possible vaccum leak. started looking around and found this by the passenger side firewall next to where u pull the codes. don't know what it is. should there be a line attached to it? any other ideas bout what to look for?

That's the purge canister solenoid. The missing tube goes to the intake. It's part of the gas tank venting system where gas vapors are drawn off through the charcoal filled canister (passenger side fender well) and into the intake.

ok. yeah after posting i looked around some more. found a line thats been plugged off with a bolt. bet thats it. makes sense that if it venting properly that it could cause a miss. i'll fix that tomorrow if see what happens.

FWIW, the other end of that detached hose goes to the underside of the plenum (it's tough to access with the plenum in place). That line rots from the fuel vapor so it could be creating a vac leak (if the hose rotted between the plenum and the end where the bolt was installed).
