I have a 91 LX ive converted to carb. there is a vacuum line on the top of the front side of the brake booster that i believe at one time hooked up to the vacuum tree on the firewall.

Since i dont have a vacuum tree anymore could someone tell me what that line coming off the booster does so i know if i can delete it or not?

If i need it, should i somehow plumb it into the intake manifold, or..... ?

I SWEAR i posted this earlier, but the thread has vanished.

Thanks for any help!

Thats the vacuum line for you power brakes. It goes from the booster to the tree like you said, or you can run it to your manifold (constant vac). How do your brakes feel? Your running a power booster in manual mode, can't be good. Unless you go to a manual setup without the booster you need to hook it back up.
Here is a pic going from the manifold to the tree (cant see the tree). Hope that helps.

Honestly, i havent felt the brakes in about 4 years. i took the car apart as a project car, and im about done with it. I just didnt know where i should hook it up on my air gap manifold, or if there was somewhere else better to hook it up. thanks for the pictures though, that should help alot. :nice:
