Valve Adjustment

Can I adjust my rocker arms and valve train with out my cam bolt on?? The kit didnt come with one and I have my heads on, timing chain installed, and rockers on and I really want to get ahead. The new one is on order and will be here in a week. I can't wait. Race season is coming !!! Any thoughts?????

cam is installed it justs need the cam bolt, wouldn't it still produce a zero lash with all the other components installed ????

Odd question.....LOL

You could set the rockers with out the cam bolt in. As long as the cam turns with the crank, you can get it to base circle.
