Just did a valve body swap on the ol aod. Got a street/strip from late model restoration. I should have gotten pics of the install but i was too excited to get er done at the time. Anyhow, this was straight forward and quite easy to get done. Instructional videos are available on youtube. My only regret was that there was no filter or gasket supplied with the kit. We shall see if it helps out.

That should wake up the car. What specs are on the VB? Did you also replace the 3-4 governor? Make sure you properly adjust the TV cable.

I went with a performance automatic street strip. Silver fox was my first choice but price and shipping speed won me over. Either way, good reveiws, it should help out the aod, and i think ill enjoy it. Got the tv cable adjustment down so im ok there. trans was brand new from ford (11k miles ago) so it should hold up ok.....in theory
