i just purchased a used set of trick flow 170 heads with a stage 1 cam, trick flow states this combo will clear factory pistons on my 89 5.0, i want to resurface the heads and dont know if that will affect the valve clearance anyone that knows for certain i would appreciate the help thanks
I have no experince with these heads, but my AFR 185 heads did not clear my pistons where the iron Gt40s were ok. I would clay them during assembly to check for sure.
