valve cover cap

i measured the diameter of the hole in my valve cover cap. it is 1.25". but there are 'ears' around the hole to accept the original cap. will one like this work on them?

i want that style cap, but i can't see the top of this one. i like k&n stuff, but i can't find one for a 1.25" hole on their web page, maybe i'm reading it wrong. will one of these fit?

I had problems getting an oil cap that fit that type of valve cover. It seems the caps are too small for the holes. In my case, I replaced the covers with a set that had the 'push on' stem for the filler, and then getting a cap with proper fit was easy.
