I have a '91 5.0 and I just installed an S-trim on it. I have trick flow heads and intake, 1.6RR, with a 1" spacer. I just installed an 70mm throttle body on it and the throttle linkage hits my tall Ford Motorsport valve covers. I also have a power pipe on the vortech that also hits the valve cover (the rubber boot that connects the power pipe to the S-trim to be exact). Does anyone know of a taller valve cover that will clear the Rockers yet not too tall where the throttle linkage and power pipe do not hit? I tried to install my stock covers without the baffle but they are still too small and hit the rockers. I'm not too crazy about grinding out the inside of the covers - I'd rather find nice covers with a baffle in it. Thanks for any help. These small problems I've been encountering are frustrating.
