<!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> I want a nice set of valve covers (vc) that will clear my stud mount roller rockers. I like the Ford Racing black Cobra valve covers but the oil fill tube does not look like it will fit my car (seems to be for carb cars). I currently have the BBK but may change them. I don't want to do the trial and error thing. So does anyone know where to get a set of vc that will fit my 95 Cobra.

I am opened to any suggestions

Thanks
Al

I think the fox covers will clear most stud mount rockers. A buddy of mine that thas a Gen1 lightning and AFR185s runs the FRPP valve covers on his stud mounts (like the ones Rio has).

Why dont you run your stock cobra VC's? It should clear. There are alot of VC's that will fit, but you run into other problems with the intake, then the hood. Taller VC's dont like to fit under the intake without a spacer, and if you have an aftermarket intake the extra inch doesnt want to fit under your stock hood.

I see you are running an Edel intake

They allow a bit more room between the bottom of the upper and the VC's
than the Cobra and TFS

I run Fox VC's and use no spacer with my Edel intake

I also use the SN tb elbow setup

I run Scorpion stud RR's and they are pretty big units. I had to remove
just the smallest amount from the front boss of each VC.

Depending upon which RR's you use, you might not have to remove any
material from the inside of them.

The filler neck will have to be repositioned just a tiny amount

For all the details use my screen name and the keyword ... filler
