Does the brand of valve cover matter? I am thinking of getting some new valve covers since mine have had it... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...em=7924429610&category=33627#ebayphotohosting
would that be alright? or does it not really matter what valve covers are put there? Let me know because i want to dress up my engine etc

personally i would look for some aluminum covers or something that would hold up better. i have a set of edlebrock covers that look just like that and are about 1 year old. the chrome has allready bubbled off and they are rusting badly. I have also been looking for newer valve covers :S.

I can personally tell you that those valve covers suck. Teh chrome doesnt last and they are made out of very thin metal. So thin that you will have to buy shorter valve cover bolts because the stock ones will bottom out. Look around i got these for 40 bux on ebay and they cleared my 1.6 scorpion roller rockers.
