valve job test?

i got some gt40 iron heads in last week and i'm wondering it there is anyway i can test the valves seals to see if they need a valve job or not?

Pour some gas into the ports and hold up the head so the ports are verticle.If gas pours out around the valve and seats they are not sealing good. A little bit of seepage is normal but it should not pour out.

No simple way without disassembling everything. Some fine valve grinding compound and a suction cup twirler can the used to check the mating of the valves & seats.

might as well get it done, maybe shaved to, ronnie at mustang spesialties did a fantastic job. my heads looked new. i need a tune asap. going next weel.
