i have a new 308 and i can hear a little ticking from the driver's side valve, but its not excessive(i cant hear it inside the car only with the hood open outside) i have ford 1.72rr's and i torqued them down to 20lbs but i didn't retighten them after bringing it up to full temp. should i pull off the cover and recheck them?

Are your heads stud or pedistal?
I went to stud mount and some good roller rocker arms. I had to remove my baffle on the passenger side like everyone else. On the driver side I have the a tink, tink sound of the rocker arms barely touching the valve cover. I've opened up the valve cover and seen where it was hitting. Then clearanced the cover in those spots, no more sound. Just the loud as injectors now.
Which you may want to check as well.
Take a stethascope or screw driver and put it to the valve cover and then your ear. Then place it on one of your injectors and listen.
