valve rattle

i am getting a little low end rattle from the engine of my 02 gt. some say that is is detonation, others say i have a bad custom tune. can someone help me with this? it sounds like an old school car when the timing is to far advanced. the car has a custom tune, and then was changed by the old owner of the car, so i am lost.? it sounds like the valves. help.

"Valve rattle" does not exist it is detonation.
Too much load at low rpm's will induse this in most cars that I have owned.
Just avoid the conditions that induce this and you will be fine.
Or get the tune changed to remove some timing in the bottom end.
