Before the great crash. There was a topic concerning valve stem covers. It was long and funny had install pictures and everything.
The topic was one of the most viewed in the 05 section.
We had brought up how the covers would more than likely be stolen....
I have had mine on since feb...HAD them on.....
I noticed yesterday that someone had stolen them

they were nice but alas they are gone, hopefully the new owner puts them to good use

Valve caps

I have the same set of Mustang caps. I have had them on two Mustangs (a '97 and my present 2000). I plan to put them on my new '06 when I get it. I have worried about theft but still have them.

I put on the pony spinners. Thus, I didn't want the pony valve covers. I have also worried that someone will steal the spinners since they just snap on.

With all due respect my friend, Kevin, that is a given. Even chromes get swiped. I hope they were not too expensive. Perhaps if you get another set, you should just put them in the glove box for shows. Most folks don't even notice them on the car due to the "Sponge Bob Starry Eye" affect the vehicle causes with the general public.

Sorry they were swiped bud.

That was my install thread that you were refering to. I kept them on until about a month ago when somebody finally stole them while my car was parked outside @ work. I havent found the same ones yet to go in their place.

And on a side note. I know most folks dislike the stock rims. But I just love them and Kev's picture just reminded me of that. I am not a fan of the spinners, but that is my personal preference. Not that I don't think they look good.

Cleveland> I wish I could have seen the infamous "valve stem cover install thread". LOL... Sounds like a classic!

I remember that thread... Sucks that people can stoop so low as to steal something that trivial yet yours nonetheless. Stupid kids!!!
