Valve train help

Hey all, im very new to building a motor but i plan on doing cam and heads on my 89 fox (it already had a gt40 intake when i got it). i plan on using gt40 3 bar heads and a gt40 kr2 cam from flow tech inductions, how do i determine which rockers and pushrod length i need? any advice is appreciated since i really don’t know what im doing

Oh hell...take it to someone that knows how to do this. I only say this because you will need to degree the cam which sets the timing events, then you will need a set of solid roller lifters or hydraulic lifters converted to solid, adjustable pushrods with light valve springs, and the rocker arms you plan on using. Most people do not have any of the equipment other than the rockers.

Just to give you an idea as to how this can go is you could end up just needing stock length pushrods or like in my case you could end up having to weld the rocker arm stud bosses on the heads up and moving the location, installing taller rocker arm studs, and then ordering custom length pushrods.

yeah i wanted to see if it was something feasible to do on my own but i also have no problem taking it somewhere because i really don’t want to mess it up so that’s most likely what i’ll end up doing
